Mark Tuckey x Main Studio | The Making of Material
As part of Melbourne Design Week, Mark Tuckey and Main Studio have partnered to create an engaging evening that explores the intersection of design, agroforestry, and community.
This includes a showcase of agroforestry furniture collection designed by Browen Main in collaboration with Mark Tuckey, screening of a thought-provoking short film directed by Grace Moore and shot by Alexander Naughton that features insights from Andrew Stewart, a Bob Hawke Landcare Award winner. This film delves into the importance of agroforestry and its potential impact on the future of Australian design.
A panel discussion will provide the opportunity for attendees to engage with the designers, manufacturer and filmmaker.
Questions about the design process, sustainability, and the future of agroforestry in Australia are encouraged.
Come and explore your local design neighbourhood, meet some of Melbourne’s creative community, and go away with the tools and inspiration to design the world you want.
The future’s shaped by what we design today – and it all starts with Melbourne Design Week.
