We’re proud to be featured in the latest issue of Green Magazine as part of a project that highlights a meaningful collaboration grounded in design, sustainable manufacturing and regenerative practice.

The Making of Material is an innovative project led by Mark Tuckey in collaboration with designer Bronwen Main of Main Studio using timber sourced from the Stewart family’s agroforestry farm in Victoria’s Otway Ranges.

Back in the 1980s, Andrew and Jill Stewart began restoring their degraded farmland with the help of agroforestry pioneer Rowan Reid. Over the decades, they’ve planted more than 50,000 trees, increasing vegetation cover from 3% to 18% - regenerating soil, restoring biodiversity, and creating a sustainable supply of commercial grade timber.

This project brought that timber into our workshop, where we handcrafted an exclusive three-piece furniture collection that was showcased alongside a short documentary by filmmaker Grace Moore during Melbourne Design Week 2025.
